I discovered I have over 300 books, which I hid in the loft.
Not sure what that says about me. Hiding books in the loft so that I can buy more books. I realized that I have another 200 books on the bookshelves.
The Kindle has saved me so much room.
Right, back to the topic of structure in communication.
What I am about to show you can save you. For example, if you are at work and your boss says “The speaker for the event has not shown up, you have 20 minutes to prepare to give a talk.” You will be able to say “OK”
You can use this structure in writing a blog post. Like I said in the last Newsletter, it is the same structure that Tony Robbins learnt and Eben Pagen uses in his publishing empire.
So how do we build trust though structure?

It’s called the 4 Mat system.
The simple version is made up of four questions:
- Why
- What
- How
- What if
Why:
Sell the idea/topic
What:
Give the facts; explain any jargon and what makes it work
How:
This is putting it into action, a step by step process
What if:
What else can you do with this information?
