Been brainstorming ideas for the book club.
The goal is to create a vibrant club to:
- Share book ideas/recommendations
- Share ideas
- Share stories
- Put into action what you have learnt from the books
- Community of like-minded people
- Where you are safe and feel you can ask questions
So how do we do this?
This would work best as a membership area on our website. This way we can avoid the online Trolls. Feel safe in expressing our views and opinions and create a learning space we all want to be part of.
We as a group will choose books to be included. Once a fortnight we have a new book to discuss.
I will produce for each book:
- 5 page book summary
- Audio version of the book summary
- Mind Map of the book
I will also contact the authors of the books, ask for an interview and share the interview with you.
So that we have a group who are committed and invested in taking part, it would be good for us to charge a small monthly fee; for example £2.99 or £3.99.
Your thoughts and questions would be most welcome.
Starting date of the book club: 1st October.
Do you think we should also limit membership numbers?
